There was a time in my life where all I wanted to be was a dancer. After tearing my ACL while competing I was introduced to Pilates to help in my rehabilitation. After years of being a student, my mentors encouraged me to also become a teacher. Since then I’ve been trained in a variety of formats that heal, strengthen, and balance the body and mind. My passion is to help people develop a true understanding of the capabilities of their body and experience freedom and confidence in the movement they create. My goal is to take what I've learned in my own journey, pass it to others, and make it come full circle.
In 2022 I was asked to be Lead Instructor of the Expressive Arts Dance Program at the ACS Nicholas Scoppetta Children's Center, facilitating trauma-informed performing arts activities for children in New York's Foster Care System. I've taught fitness to students and faculty at Pratt Institute for the last 7 years, and given the opportunity to teach Chair Yoga to chemotherapy patients at Brookdale Hospital. I've been invited to teach Dance Fitness and Pilates to employees at the New York Corporate Headquarters for Spotify, Indeed, and Pinterest.
